Oakdale Shelter Pet Alliance OSPA is always happy to welcome new members. Meetings are held every other month. Volunteering your time to help the animals is rewarding and fills your heart knowing how much they need you.
Spay/Neuter Voucher Program: This program has recently been suspended. If anyone is interested in reviving this project, it can be discussed at an OSPA meeting.
Marketing Committee: Submit Press Releases (supplied by an OSPA Board member) to local media, i.e. Oakdale Leader and Riverbank News. Create and distribute any marketing materials necessary. Update Facebook, Instagram, Petfinder, and the OSPA website.
Fundraising Program: Work with others to create and implement fundraising events. Seek new sites for OSPA Donation Canisters (OSPA supplies canisters). Maintain canisters by making regularly scheduled collections. Deliver collected funds to the OSPA Treasurer. Writing proposals for grants.
Membership Committee: Contribute to creating “potential member” marketing strategies.

Animal Shelter Committee:
Works with the staff of the Shelter to
determine which animals qualify for supplemental care, i.e. Veterinary care,
grooming, a special feeding program.
The Animal Shelter support committee is
always on the lookout for projects to make the lives of the shelter animals more comfortable and safe. Develop and subsidize special adoption events permitted by the staff of the City of Oakdale Animal Shelter.
OAKDALE SHELTER PET ALLIANCE COMMITMENT STATEMENT: I acknowledge that OSPA is a working, all-volunteer, non-profit organization. As a member of OSPA, I am willing to support the goals of OSPA volunteer on committees/events, and attend meetings as much as possible.
